This 2005 Porsche Carrera GT is one of 1,270 examples built during a four-year production. The car is finished in GT Silver Metallic over Ascot Brown leather and is powered by a 5.7-liter V10 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Features include 19″ and 20″ center-lock alloy wheels, ceramic composite brakes, an electronically actuated rear spoiler, removable roof panels, xenon headlights, air conditioning, a Porsche Online Pro CD stereo, and a Valentine One radar detector.
The carbon-fiber body panels on this example are finished in GT Silver Metallic (M7Z) with matching removable roof panels. Aerodynamic elements include an undertray, a rear diffuser, and an electronically actuated rear spoiler that can also be deployed using a button on the center console. Clear paint protection film was applied to the front of the car in 2008.
The forged magnesium wheels measure 19×9.5” up front and 20×12.5” at the rear and are secured by center-lock nuts that are color-coded in reference to thread direction. They are mounted with 265/35 front and 335/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires that show date codes from 2015. Pushrod-activated coilover struts are mounted inboard all around, and stopping power is provided by cross-drilled 15” ceramic composite brake rotors with yellow six-piston monobloc aluminum calipers at each corner.
The interior features racing-style seats with carbon-fiber and Kevlar shells upholstered in Ascot Brown leather along with a matching dashboard, center console, door A-pillars, and door caps. The Carrera GT features magnesium, carbon-fiber, and aluminum interior trim, and additional equipment includes one-touch power windows, air conditioning, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, and a Porsche Online Pro CD stereo.
