The Ferrari F599 GTB was built between 2006 and 2013 and is the successor of the equally popular Ferrari 575. The GTB is nothing else but "Gran Turismo Berlinetta" and with his new aluminum body presented in 2006, another step in weight saving. The 6 liter V12 of the GTB achieves 611 hp, which is quite enough to carry the weight of about 1,600 kg to a final speed of 331 km/h. Specifically, this vehicle was delivered with the rare HGTE ( Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione ) equipment from the factory and is therefore not a normal 599 GTB. The HGTE package includes ceramic brakes, aluminum rims, carbon fiber package, suspension modification and optimized software to reduce switching times by 85ms. In addition, a sports exhaust system was fitted ex factory.

Der Ferrari F599 GTB wurde zwischen 2006 und 2013 produziert und ist der Nachfolger des ebenso beliebten Ferrari 575. Das Kürzel GTB heißt nichts anderes als "Gran Turismo Berlinetta" und ist mit seiner in 2006 vorgestellten neuartigen Aluminium Karosserie, ein weiterer Schritt in Sachen Gewichtsersparnis.
Der 6 Liter V12 des GTB leistet 620 PS, was völlig reicht um das Gewicht von rund 1.600 kg auf eine Endgeschwindigkeit von 331 km/h zu befördern. Speziell dieses Fahrzeug wurde mit der seltenen HGTE ( Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione ) Ausstattung ab Werk ausgeliefert und ist somit kein normaler 599 GTB. Zum HGTE Paket gehören unter anderem die Keramikbremsen, die Aluminium Felgen, Carbonpaket, Fahrwerksänderung und optimierte Software um die Schaltzeiten um 85ms zu verkürzen. Zudem wurde eine Sportabgasanlage ab Werk verbaut.
